In-home, one-on-one lessons will allow your child to learn the King of Instruments with attention to how they learn best, in a familiar environment.
- We follow a serious, classically-based approach. Students learn something new each lesson, challenging their mind and fingers to reach the next level of proficiency. They love playing actual music and not dry, single-note songs.
- We offer multiple, adaptable levels of instruction based on student progress and interests. We adapt our instruction at each lesson to meet your child where they are, and to keep things interesting. Your child won’t get frustrated or left behind because they need more coaching or practice; we’ll be right there to see them through it.
- Formal Recitals are an important venue for students to showcase their progress in front of loved ones. Having students engage in the community and with their peers through performance will foster a comfort and love for the gift of music. The beauty and power of the music as a shared experience will grow each student’s confidence and ambition with the piano.
- Parents sometimes want to engage deeper with their children’s piano journey. Adult lessons do just this! Share the journey with your child, brush up dormant skills, and enjoy taking the journey together as you share in the wonder of playing music yourself.
- Adults are sometimes reluctant to take lessons because of concern for having enough time, progressing fast enough, or simply because it’s a new frontier. It’s never too late to start. You will receive the same high-quality instruction with an emphasis on utilizing your developed adult mind to progress in a way that fits your needs, and utilizing music you’ll love.
- While sports and other extra-curriculars are great, piano lessons develop mind, body, and soul. Private instruction puts students light-years ahead of YouTube tutorials and “afterthought” music programs. We bring music to your family, in your home, so everyone can enjoy the experience, especially the student!
- As an independent recording artist, performer, seasoned accompanist, and long-time technology enthusiast, Jonathan (our Lead Instructor) has a variety of unique experiences that inform his approach to teaching. As students progress through their piano journey, unique options in composition, digital music, tech-based learning, and group/accompaniment playing can keep things interesting. For students and busy adults that prefer it, online lessons are an option as well (though we strongly encourage in-person lessons for the best results).
